To maintain the highest level of service, please review our policy guidelines below based on whether you purchased your jewellery in-person at our showroom or through our online catalog (mynbj.com).

1. Showroom (Offline) Customer Services

For customers purchasing directly at our West Bengal showroom, we offer comprehensive in-person after-sales care for all jewellery purchased from us:

  • Professional Cleaning & Polishing: Restores original luster and shine.
  • Resizing & Fitting Adjustments: Ring and bangle size adjustments.
  • In-House Repairs & Soldering: Repairing worn clasps, minor chain breaks, or loose prongs.
  • Gemstone & Diamond Re-setting: Replacing lost or loose stones.
  • Gold & Silver Exchange / Buyback: Trade-in or sell back your jewellery as old metal.

Note: Minor routine care and polishing are offered at direct-at-cost nominal rates for our valued showroom clients.

2. Online Customer Services (mynbj.com)

Due to logistics, insurance, and transit handling constraints, we do not offer repair or resizing services for online orders.

For items purchased online via mynbj.com, we offer Buyback (Sell Back) and Old Metal Exchange options, subject to the strict compliance conditions detailed below.

3. Online Old Metal Exchange Policy

If you purchased your jewellery from mynbj.com and wish to exchange it for a new design:

  • Eligibility: Applicable strictly to jewellery originally purchased from New Bhubaneshwari Jewellers.
  • Required Documentation:
    1. Original Purchase Invoice from New Bhubaneshwari Jewellers.
    2. Valid Photo ID proof (Clear images of both sides of your Aadhaar Card).
    3. PAN Card copy (Required for regulatory metal exchange compliance).
  • Valuation Process: Returned exchange metal undergoes mandatory melting and assaying evaluation to verify exact weight and metal purity. The exchange value applied will be based on the prevailing daily bullion rate on the date the evaluation is completed.

4. Online Buyback (Sell Back) Policy

If you wish to return your previously purchased jewellery for cash value credit:

  • Eligibility: Applicable strictly to original products purchased from New Bhubaneshwari Jewellers.
  • Required Verification Documents:
    • Original Tax Invoice: Issued by New Bhubaneshwari Jewellers.
    • Identity Proof: Clear front & back images of your Aadhaar Card.
    • PAN Card: Clear front image of your PAN Card.
    • Bank Account Details: Clear image of your Bank Passbook front page or a Cancelled Cheque.

⚠️ Strict Matching Rule: The name on the original purchase invoice MUST match the name on the PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, and Bank Account details. Third-party payouts are strictly prohibited under Indian anti-money laundering regulations.

Buyback Processing & Payout Timeline:

  1. Receipt & Evaluation: Once your parcel arrives at our facility, it undergoes a mandatory technical evaluation, metal melting, and purity analysis.
  2. Rate Application: The final buyback payout is calculated using the bullion market rate applicable on the date evaluation and melting are completed (not the dispatch or delivery date).
  3. Processing Time: Payout processing takes a maximum of 15 working days following physical receipt and evaluation.
  4. Direct Bank Settlement: Approved buyback funds are transferred directly into the verified recipient’s bank account via NEFT/RTGS/IMPS.
